mkay so i guess i could take the time to update since i haven't in soo long.. 

INFO:

i had the baby on June 19th, 2008 at 1:57 pm.. 
i was only in labor for 1 hr!! go me!! ;)
i was uberly fuckered up on the epidural and loved it.. based on the fact i lost my sense of reality.. ahahah
and thought having a baby was a complete game.. i kept giggling.. joking around.. and falling asleep.. 
when i was suppose to be pushing.. ahahah 
i was in absolutely NO pain at all. just my wrist hurt.. lol which i bitched about.. haahah 
i had her head out on my 2nd practice push.. pretty much.. what took me soo long to deliver was based on the fact i kept wanting to go to sleep.. or kept laughing.. hahah
days b4 i had the baby.. i wasn't showing any signs of pre labor or anything.. i had NO pre-contractions.. i wasn't even dilated or hardly effaced... 
the baby was 2 days over due.. i had to be induced. that morning when i went in to be induced.. apparently i was 5 cm dilated and 90% effaced.. as i said.. WHOA! so when the fuck did that happen?!? lol.. my contractions didn't hurt at all. 
they gave me an epidural at 6 cms.. i didn't even ask for one.. but they said it's time for me to have one.. meh
my bestie paige and her mommy was there to help.. thanx to paige holding 1 leg.. and her mom joking about everything.. making me laugh.. took me forever to have the baby.

Name: Madelayne Brooke Singleton  (hahah her name was a last minute decision.. her first name.. made it up a few hours b4 i was going to be induced... took Madeline + Elaine= took out the I.. changed to a Y to be.. Madelayne.. middle name.. came up w/ it while i was filling out the birth certificate papers.. lol)
Weight: 6 lbs 10.9 oz
Length: 20"

I think it's just a routine. easy and just the same everyday... thank gawed she cooperates w/ me.. ahahah sleeps when i want her to sleep.. lol and she finally sleeps through the night

she can hold her head up at a 45 degree angle while on her belly.. she just started those cooing noises a couple of weeks ago.. and the same w/ smiling :) 
no giggling sounds.. but she smiles none the less

so i had my appointment the other day.. then they were like.. hey you're 29 weeks!! can you stay for a sonogram?? and i thought.. ummm sure :)

i didn't pay the $100 for 3D images... b/c that's just stupid and a waste of moolah..  so i just had a regular sonogram.. and gahhh i feel bad for her.. she looks so damn cramped up in there.. and found out she's head down..

so harley bought the baby a car seat.. and of course.... it wasn't the one i told him..... he didn't get an infant car seat.. he got a toddler car seat... and i told him.. yeah that's not going to work... she's too little.. you need an infant car seat... 

but he said he didn't have the money for the one i wanted.. and got one she could grow into.... i was like.. she can't grow into that... she'll slip out of it.. and will be wobbling all over the place b/c it doesn't support her head at all.. which is why you need to get an infant car seat..... they're called infant car seats for that fucking reason... to support an infant.. 

also i told him.. how am i going to carry her around in that?? he said.. well there's handles on the side... and i said.. do you have any idea how fucking heavy that's going to be?? especially w/ a baby in it?? then i'll have to carry it a certain way to keep her from wobbling all over and falling out.. :( i told him he needs an infant one w/ a bar/handle thingy on top... 

bah but apparently that's too hard.. i told him to look on my damn registry... so he'll know exactly what i need.... but he can't seem to do that right..

and he saying he's getting what he can right now b/c he doesn't have the money... and i think.. well tell your baby that when she's born and she's hungry and you don't have the money.. when i fucking told your ass months ago... to get a fucking jobby.. and you wouldn't do it.. you just procrastinate.. or fed me bullshit..... you never follow through w/ anything..

and that is why i'm not w/ him... the immaturity, irresponsibility, procrastinates too much, doesn't follow through w/ what he says, unreliable... more concerned about the fucking drugs...  he has the mentality of a 16 year old.. and i need an adult... not another child to take care of... 1 is enough...

i can't deal w/ that... i need someone dependable..

and that right there is just bullshit......

YOUR BABY THIS WEEK-- 27 weeks (and 4 days.. forgot to post this on tuesday.. lol)

It’s official—you’re about to start your third trimester and well on your way to delivery day!

Your Baby: As growth continues, your baby weighs in at over 2 pounds (1 kg). And because his body is more developed, measurement no longer goes from rump to crown, but from tip to toe—about 15 inches (38cm)! Your baby can suck his thumb now, which is actually a good thing! It helps calm him, while also helping to strengthen jaw muscles and encourage the suckling reflex. Your baby can even cry now, but you won’t be able to hear him.  

If your baby were born now, it would have an 85% chance of surviving. Even though your baby is still not fully developed, she would be well within the limits of premature viability. You still have approximately 13 weeks left of your pregnancy, and during this time your baby must continue to grow and develop. If your baby was born at this time, she would have several complications that would require special attention. Because babies do not have adequate amounts of fat at this time, your baby would have to be kept inside of an incubator for warmth. Because the air sacs in your baby's lungs do not yet have surfactant, she would require an artificial respirator. Your baby's brain, liver and immune system still need to develop more also.

Their skin is still translucent and thin; you can see the veins running through it. The soles of the feet are still smooth usually. The skin is sometimes still covered with downy hairs. The eyes are often closed. They cry silently because of the breathing tube inserted between their vocal cords. 

If someone puts his or her ear up to your belly, over the fetal back, your baby's heartbeat will probably be distinguishable! Your baby will probably be very active between weeks 24 and 28. You may notice in the weeks to come that your baby will begin to have regular, predictable patterns of movement and sleep.

Other fetal development that is occurring when you are 27 weeks pregnant includes the following:

 

• The network of nerves to the ear is completed
• The baby takes some breaths, and although breathing in water, not air, it is good practice for the lungs
• Eyelids begin to open, and the retinas begin to form
• Your baby may be able to recognize your voice and your partner's voice.

so yeah i've concluded that Azphyxia has allergies... more than likely a food allergy..
reason for this?

she's constantly fucking scratching and licking herself.. all over.. and i mean to the point it's driving me up a wall.. just annoying

no she doesn't have fleas or ticks either..

she sneezes a lot too.. so it has to be a food allergy.. or some other sort of allergy period..

i've been telling my dad we need to take her to the vet... take it she's a year in a half old.. hasn't had ANY of her shots... or anything.. and i'm seriously worried that she'll catch something since she's outside a lot :(

all b/c he doesn't want to pay $35 or so for her shots... which is a once a year thing?? or w/e.. you know??
b/c he'd rather waste his money into his hobby than anything else....


also we need to switch dog food b/c i can tell she's not that healthy.... 
her coat is lacking the shinyness it's suppose to have..
her eyes have drainage... 
her body/muscle mass looks a bit off... 
also she's been shedding like crazy!!
and she's been lounging around a bit more than usual lately.. 
so i'm really worried :( 

she's a black lab for crying out lab... = energetic as fuck!! 

also i know switching to a much better dog food.. rather than the cheapy shit at the store..
will help her immune system, coat, shedding, her allergies more than likely.. and just everything in general

but the constant scratching, licking, and occasional sneezing needs to stop..

it's driving me nuts!!! 

plus i'm tired of seeing her suffer... and looking soo damn miserable..... 
i can just tell by the look in her eyes she isn't fully happy... and is a little down in the dumps

so the other day.. the 13th.. i finally found a ride to my doctor's appointment... thankies to adriana and her boi :) she's about a week or 2 ahead of me.. lol

i had to drink that orange glucose stuff that tasted like sunkist.. it was too sweet and i knew it would make me do the usual regurgitation again.. which it did a few times.. but i held it down... knowing if i tossed the cookies.. i would have to drink it again and basically start all over again :( mehhhh so i waited an hour.. within 30 mins i got a bit nauseas.. and sort of light headed... and right b4 she poked me to draw mah blood.. i told her i felt kind of dizzy.. she asked if i was going to faint.. i said i dunno... never really fainted b4.. right when she stuck me.. the room spun a bit.. and it felt like an instant rush to mah head.. and my eyes sort of rolled back... and i didn't fully go out.. but it was close.. she asked if i was okay.. and i said.. i think? but yeah it was just weird.. last time that happened.. i was dehydrated and right when they poked me to stick an IV in... the room spun and i had to lay back.. nearly passed out.. :( i'm thinking it has something to do w/ my blood pressure being low.. which it was.. it wasn't from getting poked w/ the IV... i'm not afraid of needles.. and the pain doesn't phase me.. it was just weird.. :(

after that looong ass appointment... they said they'll call me if anything is wrong and i gotta do the 3 hour test.. which i hope not..

that test i did was to check for diabetes, hypoglycemia, and hyperglycemia... hopefully i don't have any of the above.. mehhhh

afterwards i hung out w/ adriana and her boi... but my gawed! he's random as fuck.. ahahhah we went to the mall walked around.. he kept popping out of nowhere and scaring the crap out of us... and just being random... then we went to wal mart.. they got groceries.. and we walked around and played w/ the toys in the baby isle... and it was nice getting out and hanging out again... haven't done that in soo long.. hehe

they took me home around 6 ish.. i was seriously beat from all the walking around... gahh guess the pregnancy thing really is kicking my ass... pfffff

as of today... i went to wal mart w/ my mom.. got some paint to start painting the baby's room.. it's a lavender color :) i like it. i'm painting the trim white.. i just got done painting 1 coat of the room.. still have a wall to do.. but gah i got tired and mah fingers hurt.. hah so i'm gonna finish up tmw..

this is going to be an idea of what the baby's room is going to look like once i get done :)

i can't believe how expensive the bedding is.. cheapest i found is $170 gahhh :( but reason it costs that much.. it comes w/ a quilt, bumper, dust ruffle, fitted sheet, valance and diaper stacker.

i dunno i'll find a way to come up w/ the moolah :(

soo ppl keep asking me if i'm going to throw a baby shower.... i dunno if i want to throw one.. b/c seriously.. who the hell would i invite???

i don't talk to anyone anymore... except for like 4 ppl.... and other than that... everyone seem to forgot i existed.. *rolls eyes*

well yeah that was my adventure for today.. and yesterday... i'm gonna go ahead and go to sleep
